Nursing In Public in Canada

Canadian women have the right to breastfeed anytime, anywhere, without discrimination. This right is protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.  In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, we wanted to spread the world that breastfeeding your baby in Canada is a protected right.  Anyone discouraging you from doing so is participating in discrimination, not to mention is just plain rude.  Rudeness and Canadians are like oil and water!  The more people see breastfeeding, the more normalized it will become.  And soon, discrimination will dissipate…

I breastfed my daughter in a court room, while walking through a mall, basically anywhere and anytime my daughter is hungry. And I’m proud to be able to do so.
